Trakhees was established in 2008 by the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation with the aim of integrating licensing and compliance functions hitherto being handled by the Environment, Health and Safety Division along with the Civil Engineering Division. One of its major aims is to foster and enhance the initiatives of environment protection, health, hygiene and safety. They conduct thorough annual audits of the EHS practices and compliance with the requisite standards by the units covered by them, apart from regular surprise visits to the facilities. Only after they confirm strict compliance with all the rules, regulations and standards is the license renewed by Jafza. They have inspected both our plants located in Jafza and have certified our compliance with their requirements which also include requirements for firefighting capabilities and training. Copies of the Certificates issued by them for both our Plants (1 and 2) are attached.
